MONDAY HIP HOP SERIES
Our hip hop program focuses on the movement, choreography and music of the Pop scene while keeping in the Broadway style our studio revolves around. Shining a spotlight on key personalities of this genre, this class is sure to be exhilarating and fun, giving your child experience not only with hip hop but with using dance to invigorate the song. Levels are based
on age and ability, ranging from Pre-K up to Teens. You may trial a class for free to see if it is a good fit and be advised by Director, Chris Mercado.

TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY SUMMER STOCK PRODUCTIONS
Our Summer Stock productions are the only ones of their kind in Snoqulamie Valley! We offer two productions, one All Ages and one 12+. Summer Stock is an incredible opportunity for new and experienced performers alike to participate in a full-scale musical production and perform on stage at Snoqualmie Valley Alliance’s beautiful amphitheater in Fall City at the end of the session. This is an auditioned program, however, our auditions are low-pressure and fun! Auditions to be held on May 11th. Please contact us to reserve a time. IMPORTANT STUFF
Monday Hip Hop program pricing follows our normal group class pricing and billing structure. Specific policies on that can be found here. Summer Stock pricing is as follows: $720 for the 9-week Summer Session billed in two equal payments of $360 on July 1st & August 1st. All camps are $350 per child and run for one week, 9am to 4pm. Lunches are not provided so please send your child with a sack lunch and a water bottle. Half-day options 9am-1pm OR 12pm-4pm available. JUNE 17TH – JUNE 21ST

“Ace Your Audition” Improv and Audition Camp (5th Grade & Up)

Improv & Audition camp is specially designed with creative minds and kids really interested in acting as the focus. Through the use of theater games and mini-performances, young actors learn a variety of facets of acting and performing which help young performers prepare for auditions. Topics include character development, creative expression through movement, improv games and scene work. Students will have an opportunity to perform for each other, and will work together to develop self-confidence, team/group dynamic, body and spatial awareness. With improv, kids learn how to be positive, more creative, focus on teamwork, take risks, overcome shyness, listen and HAVE FUN!

Intro to Musical Theater Disney Camp (Pre-K to 1st Grade)

Intro to Musical Theater A Day at Disney Camp focuses on developing new skills, exploring their hidden talents, and building their self-confidence. In this popular camp songs and scenes from Disney musicals will be selected for the class. “A Day at Disney” camp will include a Disney theme for each day of camp! Think Moana, Frozen, Peter Pan and all the classics. There will be a showcase day to show off their new skills! In addition to the music, acting and choreography selection, the camp’s arts & crafts portion also revolves around the theme of the day where the kids create an art project that will mirror the Disney camp’s theme each day. There will be a performance and presentation of their work on Friday at the end of the camp day for parents to enjoy! $50 non refundable camp deposit taken at registration.

JULY 8TH – JULY 12TH

Intro to Singing, Acting & Dancing Summer Camp (Pre-K to 3rd Grade)

Does your little star like to sing in the bathtub, put on shows with their stuffies or dance all around the house? Intro to Singing, Acting & Dancing Camp will focus on all three of these things, giving students an opportunity to perform and have fun while learning about the basics of theater, such as stage directions and slating. We will work on singing on pitch and rhythm, becoming a character, and using movement to tell a story. Perfect for a young performer to shine! There will be a performance on Friday at the end of the camp day to showcase what the kids worked on over the week! $50 non refundable camp fee due at registration.

JULY 15TH – JULY 19TH

Improve Your Drawing Skills Camp (4th Grade & Up)

Our brand new Improve Your Drawing Skills camp is perfect for those young people in your life who are ALWAYS drawing. This camp will explore concepts in drawing by observation by taking real objects and transferring them to the page. We will discuss how to create themed studies and students will be guided through selecting their set of objects so that their finished product will be a cohesive, frame-worthy work for your home! Kids will learn about value, shading, perspective and line weights and will be guided through the process throughout. We will also talk about maintaining a portfolio and different ways of displaying work. When we are done with our sketches, we will explore color techniques and ink our lines. Each student will walk away with a small collection of illustrations to add to their portfolio and we will do a showcase of their pieces at the end of the camp on Friday. A simple supply list will be distributed after registration.

JULY 22ND – JULY 26TH

Musical Theater “Matilda” Summer Camp (2nd Grade & Up)

Our Musical Theater Matilda Camp brings to life the story of a girl with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind who dares to take a stand and change her own destiny. Matilda is a captivating musical that revels in the power of imagination that the kids will love and connect with. It will expose the campers to all the triple threats; singing, acting and dancing! Packed with high energy dance and catchy songs kids will be thrilled and delighted with this amazingly fun musical theater camp! Pieces will be performed for parents on Friday at the end of the camper’s day! Kids and adults alike will love this camp! $50 non refundable camp fee taken at registration.

JULY 29TH – AUGUST 2ND

Musical Theater A Day at Disney Camp (2nd Grade & Up)

A Day at Disney Camp Musical Theater focuses on developing new skills, exploring their hidden talents, and building their self-confidence. In this popular camp songs and scenes from Disney musicals will be selected for the class. “A Day at Disney” camp will include a Disney theme for each day of camp! This camp will focus on some selections geared for the little bit older set and be a ton of fun. Think Mary Poppins, High School Musical, Harry Potter, Shrek and so many more! There will be a showcase day to show off their new skills. In addition to the music, acting and choreography selection, the camp’s arts & crafts portion also revolves around the theme of the day where the kids create an art project that will mirror the Disney camp’s theme. AUGUST 5TH – AUGUST 9TH

Musical Theater 2 The Greatest Showman Summer Camp (5th Grade & Up)

Musical Theater 2: The Greatest Showman Camp gives students a taste of putting on a show while developing new skills, exploring their hidden talents, and building their self-confidence. Songs and scenes from the fantastic musical film, The Greatest Showman, will be selected for the class. This is a performance-based camp and will inspire the more advanced musical theater student to focus on characterization, dialogue and on-stage verbal and non-verbal communication. Each student will experiment with costumes, props, blocking and choreography culminating in their final performance. This camp is sure to be a hit with the ever growing popularity of this amazing movie! $50 non refundable camp deposit due upon registration.

AUGUST 5TH – AUGUST 9TH

Set & Stage Design for Into the Woods (3rd Grade & Up)

Calling all painters, makers and artists! This camp is a great opportunity for kids to experience what it is like to be a part of the backstage crews that make the shows really come alive on stage. Campers will have the chance to create backdrops and props for our Summer Stock production. Come create gnarly trees, enchanted briars and fairytale castles for our upcoming staging of Into the Woods! We’ll guide students through the process of set production from concept drawing, to scale modeling to building and painting our very own original collaborative sets. This camp will give the kids a chance to explore the rich, creative world of the backstage crew. Working individually and in groups, we’ll create the fantastical setting, magical mood and stylish storybook world that will bring the stage to life! Once the kids have spent the week creating these pieces to bring Into the Woods to life on stage, they will be invited to attend the performance to see all their hard work in action.

AUGUST 12TH – AUGUST 16TH

Miss K & Miss E’s Costume & Make Up Shoppe: Mary Poppins (3rd Grade & Up)

Miss K’s & Miss E’s Costume & Makeup Shoppe is the perfect camp for creative kids who are makers/crafters/designers at heart! Learn the basics of stage makeup while designing, conceptualizing and creating costumes for our Summer Stock Production of Mary Poppins by using resources like Pinterest and more! Campers will learn the basics of machine and hand sewing and costuming techniques using foundation garments and styling techniques. We encourage all campers to bring a sewing machine if they own one (not required) and an iPad or iPhone to take pictures of makeup looks and create vision boards for their costumes. All campers are invited to attend the production of Mary Poppins on stage! $50 non refundable camp deposit due upon registration. A supply list will be distributed after registration.

AUGUST 19TH – AUGUST 23RD

Set & Stage Design Camp: Mary Poppins (3rd Grade & Up)

This camp is a great opportunity for kids to experience what it is like to be a part of the backstage crews that make the shows really come alive on stage. Campers will have the opportunity to create the backdrops and props for our all ages Summer Stock Production of Mary Poppins – everything from a spoon full of sugar to lampposts and chimney sweeps and all Mary Poppin’s treasures in her magic bag, we will set the stage for this magical production. Once the kids have spent the week creating these pieces to bring Mary Poppins alive on stage, they will all be invited to attend the performance on to see their hard work in action! $50 non refundable camp deposit due upon registration.
