About the show:
- Based on the beloved book series by Barbara Park, Junie B. Jones The Musical Jr. brings everyone’s favorite first-grader to life in a hilarious and heartwarming musical adventure.
- Follow Junie B. as she navigates the ups and downs of school, friendships, family, and growing up. From classroom mishaps to playground adventures, Junie B.’s unique perspective on the world creates plenty of laughs while reminding us all about the importance of kindness, courage, and being yourself.
- Filled with catchy songs, memorable characters, and lots of humor, this musical is a favorite for performers and audiences alike.

Summer Stock and CPT Competition Performance Team Auditions
Our youth musical theatre auditions are designed to be a positive, low-pressure experience that helps students build confidence and feel successful. The audition process is simply one of the tools we use to get to know each performer and determine the roles that will best support their growth and enjoyment throughout the production.
Students should prepare approximately 32 bars (about 30–60 seconds) of a song. This can be any song they enjoy and feel comfortable singing. Students may sing a cappella or use a backing track from a phone or other device. For our youngest performers, something as simple as Happy Birthday is perfectly acceptable if it helps them feel confident and prepared.
Students should also prepare a one-minute monologue. This can be a short monologue, a favorite joke, a story, or another age-appropriate piece that allows them to share their personality and creativity. There are many great monologue resources available online for students who would like assistance finding material.
If possible, please bring a headshot, school photo, or recent picture. This helps our directing team identify students throughout the casting process.
Most importantly, we want families and students to know that there is no pressure and no need to be nervous. Our goal is to create a welcoming and encouraging environment where every student feels comfortable sharing their talents. All students who audition will be cast. Auditions simply help us learn about each performer and place them in roles where they can be successful, continue growing, and develop a lifelong love of the performing arts.

Creating Community Theatre –
Pay What You Can Class
This session is our Monday 5:30-6:30pm Hamilton Class!
Join us Mondays from 5:30–6:30 PM for our Hamilton Pay What You Can Theatre Class, a welcoming and inclusive class. This class is designed specifically for families who may not be able to afford traditional class tuition but still want to be part of our theatre community.
Offered on a “Pay What You Can” basis, this program reflects our belief that theatre should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial situation.
Each week, students will explore acting, storytelling, movement, and improvisation in a supportive, creative, and fun environment. The focus is on building confidence, encouraging creativity, and connecting with others through the joy of live performance.
How it works:
To participate, families are asked to email us with what they are able to contribute (from $0 and up) along with a brief note about their situation. There is no formal application required—just let us know what feels manageable, and we will set the class price accordingly.
Whether you are brand new to theatre or have prior experience, this class offers a space for community, growth, and connection through musical theatre.
